administered in elementary schools over 44 years; has a
Master of Education degree.
Enjoys nurturing plants and people; likes traveling
to new places especially in the South West. |

Center 10 years; is a Certified ProLiteracy Action Tutor
and Tutor-Trainer; taught elementary and secondary
schools 22 years, adult education 28 years; has a Master
of Arts, English Major. Loves
to read, go to Greenfield Village and meet new people. |

Sister Mary
Anna Riley, IHM : Data & Resources Coordinator
Employed at
the Center since August 2002; is a Certified ProLiteracy
Action Tutor; taught and administered in elementary
schools for 35 years; has a Master of Education degree
and an Associates degree in Occupational Therapy. Really
loves traveling, taking pictures, cooking, especially
creating new brunch dishes.

Sister Dorothea Gramlich, O.P.:
Administrative Assistant
Employed at
Center 4 years; is a Certified ProLiteracy Action Tutor;
has taught elementary school, vocational-tech and ESOL
for 42 years; has a Master of Education degree.
Enjoys people, history and entertaining. |

Lenore Boivin, OP: Special Projects Coordinator
Tutored at
the Center for one year; employed at Center since June
1, 2004; taught in elementary schools
and worked with adults and children for 30 years; has a
BA in Education and an MA in Art Therapy. Loves to read,
be creative, help and listen to others.

Ann Langford, Resources Manager
Has been involved with the Center since 2006 as an AmeriCorps®
member and business consultant; is a Certified ProLiteracy
Action Tutor; worked in corporate and small business
marketing and operations
for 15 years; has a BA degree in
Economics.
She is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in
Gerontology. Ann loves hiking, carpentry, reading
with her book club, and just hanging out with her
husband and three children.

Cheralyn Suggs, Placement Coordinator
Has been in
the field of education for over 30 years. She has
worked with Head Start and many community service
organizations. She retired in 2006 from the
Detroit Public Schools as a Speech Language Pathologist.
As a tutor at SLC for the past four years, she has
developed a better appreciation for those who seek to
become more literate. Cheralyn is looking forward
to working full-time as an AmeriCorps member at Siena
Literacy Center.
