Our Mission
|
Siena Literacy Center
is a non-profit organization that works to improve the
lives of families in northwest Metropolitan Detroit by
providing a basic education program for adult
learners. Together
with our volunteer tutors, we teach reading, math,
computer skills, and English as a Second Language
(ESL). Tutoring
is done free of charge at our location in northwest
Detroit. We
believe in providing a comfortable learning
environment.
Since 1995, 553 tutors
have helped over 1500 adult learners meet the
challenges of their everyday lives.

the Center with diverse backgrounds, abilities, and
goals.
