On February 5, 2010, we held our first Tutor Dialogue Session. Director Donna Nesbitt provided an outline of the startling statistics on literacy in Metro-Detroit and throughout the state. She also shared information about the Center's goals for the coming year. Tutors participated in breakout groups in order to provide suggestions for educational support, operations, fundraising, and publicity.
