
Siena Literacy Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to improve the lives of families in northwest metropolitan Detroit by providing reading, math, English language, and digital literacy programming for adult learners.
We believe that education helps create equity, empowering individuals to reach their potential as parents, wage earners, and community members.
Since 1995, more than 600 tutors have assisted 2,000 adult learners meet the challenges of their everyday lives. Learners come to Siena with diverse backgrounds, abilities, and goals:

Siena Literacy Center is proud to be part of Dominican Rea Literacy Corporation and is an accredited affiliate of ProLiteracy.





Register as a student
Siena Literacy Center offers adult education programming in reading, math, English as a Second Language, and digital literacy. Learners meet one-to-one with a tutor once a week in person or remotely and have access to our specialized computer software to meet their personal learning goals.
