New book highlights Siena learners

We are so pleased to announce our new book, "Our Shared Humanity," edited by volunteer and former staff member Sr. Lenore Boivin, OP, and featuring the stories of 17 inspiring Siena learners.

While Siena Literacy Center helps adult learners improve their reading, math, and English skills, so much of what we do here is difficult to quantify. Students who learn at Siena often improve their self-esteem, increase their confidence, and develop a strong sense of purpose as part of their academic journeys. The new books highlights those stories.

The book was sponsored through a generous grant form the IHM Sisters, sponsored by staff member Sr. Mary Anna Riley, IHM. Thanks to everyone who came to our open house on Thursday and helped us celebrate!
